Electrical and Computer Engineering Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Beverly Ann Rivera is currently a PhD candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department for the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She has completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at UTEP by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Fields and Devices and a Master’s Degree of Science in Systems Engineering with a concentration in Electrical Engineering. During her studies, she has maintained part time jobs as a tutor for the Ysleta Independent School District, Math Mobile Tutorials, and research for the Research Institute for Manufacturing and Engineering Systems (RIMES) at UTEP. She is currently doing her research at UTEP in the laboratory for Human Motion Analysis and Neurorehabilitation in the mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) area under the guidance of Dr. Thompson Sarkodie .
