My general research interest is diagnosis and assessment of human motion disorders, especially on the lower limb disabilities, due to neurological disorders such as hemiparetic stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy. My research focuses on: 1) wearable sensor fusion techniques and software development, 2) surface EMG signal processing and data analysis, and 3) improvement of conventional orthotics, prosthetics, and other robotics devices for neurorehabilitation.
